Eminem Relates To Michael Jackson Over Prescription Drug Problem

Eminem Relates To Michael Jackson Over Prescription Drug ProblemEm says he understands what the King of Pop may have been going through with drug dependency.
Eminem recently compared his struggles with drugs to that of Michael Jackson's own public battle with prescription medication, sharing that on any given day, he used to swallow up to 90 pills.

Will.i.am -- New MJ Album 'Disrespectful' to Michae

Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am wants no part of the new Michael Jackson album -- because he feels the entire thing goes against everything Michael stood for.  Will.i.am tells EW, "Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are ... He just wasn't any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it's disrespectful. There's no honoring."His biggest issue, it seems, is using unfinished MJ tracks -- something he feels the King of Pop never would have stood for: "Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they’re finished ... Maybe if I never worked with him I wouldn’t have this perspective. He was very particular about how he wanted his vocals, the reverb he used ... he was that hands-on." It's worth noting ... the album is put out by Sony, through Michael's estate. So Michael's kids are the ones who stand to make money off this.

Is It Michael, Or Is It Memorex?

Nearly a year and a half after Michael Jackson's shocking death, the public's appetite for all things Thrilling remains voracious. So to feed that need, this week it was announced that a Jackson-themed Cirque Du Soleil show directed by MJ's Dangerous Tour choreographer Jamie King is in the works, and, even more thrillingly, that an album of all-new unreleased Michael material, no-brainingly titled Michael, will be in stores in time for the holidays. But perhaps the more suitable title for that album should be This Is It?, because according to Michael's own children and mother, some of the songs on the album are fakes.

When you're a consistent hitmaker like Akon, you find yourself being a wanted man in the music industry. But lately, Akon has had less time for outside studio work due to the unfathomable success of one of his biggest collaborators Lady Gaga.
