Eminem & Royce Da 5’9 To Release “Bad Meets Evil” EP In June

Royce Da 5'9 & EminemEminem & Slaughterhouse member Royce Da 5’9 have dusted off their old Bad Meets Evil group project and plan to release an EP of material together in June. The pair of Detroit emcees conceived the project after recording the song “Bad Meets Evil” together for Eminem’s 1999 album The Slim Shady LP.

Fans of Em & Royce had their hopes for a Bad Meets Evil project dashed in 2003 when the two had a public falling out.  However, the death of D12 member Proof in 2006 brought them back together.
“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio,” Eminem told AllHipHop.com. “At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”
The EP, which is currently untitled, will be in stores on June 14th and feature production from Mr. Porter, Havoc, Bangladesh, DJ Khalil and others.
