The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was supposed to sit down on Oprah’s couch for an interview to air next Thursday (Feb 24) but a spokesman for the show said the football player’s reps called late Tuesday to cancel his appearance for “personal reasons.”

“We were supportive of him doing it and we’re supportive of him not doing it. We’re supportive all the the way through,” Eagles spokesman Derek Boyko told USA Today Thursday (Feb 17). “I think he just changed his mind,” Boyko, who says he’s not sure why Vick canceled, continued.
