One of the writers of Willow Smith's hits responds to Soulja Boy's dubious claim.
Fans were left scratching their heads when Soulja Boy recently claimed that he wrote "Whip My Hair" for Roc Nation signee Willow Smith, seemingly contradicting the songwriting credit given to Ronald "Jukebox" Jackson and Janae Rockwell.As previously reported, Soulja Boy pointed to the line, "Hop up out the bed / Turn my swag on," as evidence that he did contribute to the song. But the somewhat disingenuous claim has left one of the actual writers of the song fuming, with several choice words for the 20-year-old rapper.
Jackson, protege of Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, took exception to Soulja Boy, and responded via Twitter. CHECK THEM BELOW
