Last night BET’s CEO, Debra Lee hosted an intimate dinner sponsored by Hennessy Privilege in honor of the premiere of BET’s new original scripted series ‘The Game’ at Butter Restaurant. According to reports, The Game set a ratings record for BET, attracting 7.7 million viewers. The ratings were the 2nd highest in the networks history behind The 2009 BET Awards which was broadcast 3 days after Michael Jackson’s death.
TV by the Numbers has announced that The Game ranks as the #1 Scripted Series in Cable History. Pop the bottles!
