Rikers Island Jail Captain Accused Of Favoring Lil Wayne

Rikers Island Jail Captain Accused Of Favoring Lil Wayne A Rikers Island jail captain is under investigation for giving Lil Wayne preferential treatment.
The Rikers Island Correction Department is investigating accusations that rapper Lil Wayne is being given special treatment in jail.
The New York Post reports that Jail Capt. Latanya Brown was questioned by investigators for spending additional time with the rapper and allowing him to stay in his cell while other inmates were locked out of their bunks and ordered into the recreation yard.
The Correction Department reportedly has a zero-tolerance policy for preferential treatment. Brown has not released a statement regarding the matter.
This is the second controversy regarding an employee at Rikers and Lil Wayne, as a guard was fired in April for allegedly trying to sneak a peak at the rapper.
