Common & Ice Cube May Collaborate In The Form Of Film

Common tells AllHipHop that 15 years removed from a bitter Rap feud, the two respected emcees-turned-actors may 

use film as a medium to align abilities.

Nearly 15 years removed from a Hip Hop battle that began over criticism of Gangsta Rap, Ice Cube and Common may be working together soon, says AllHipHop.com. The site spoke to the Chicago veteran emcee and actor, Common, who said that the Westside Connection front-man and he may join forces on the screen.

Speaking about the Rap feud which began on Common's 1994 single, "I Used To Love H.E.R.," prompting Cube, along with WC and Mack 10 (as Westside Connection) to make "Westside Slaughterhouse." Common would later strike back on the Pete Rock-produced rarity vinyl single, "Bitch In Yoo."

After a 1997 meeting orchestrated by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the two have since quietly ended the feud. Common was quoted as telling AllHipHop.com, "We all good now, and maybe we can produce a movie together or something."
