Latest on Phil, Lakers

Phil Jackson met with the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday and is expected to give them a decision about whether he will replace Mike Brown as head coach Monday, according to ESPN the Magazine's Chris Broussard.
"When Phil Jackson met with Los Angeles Lakers executive vice president Jim Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak on Saturday, he asked for travel restrictions, a salary in line with what he previously earned with the Lakers and significantly more say over basketball decisions, according to sources with knowledge of the situation," Broussard wrote.
"The travel restrictions would limit the number of road games Jackson would have to attend, a source told ESPN."
The Lakers also held a phone interview with Mike D'Antoni Saturday, but Jackson remains their primary target and no in-person interview was scheduled with D'Antoni. The team also is expected to interview Mike Dunleavy, though they are not expected to target Jerry Sloan.
