Petey Pablo Arrested For Gun Possession In An Airport On 9/11

The "Raise Up" hitmaker did just that, after attempting to pack a pistol in his carry-on luggage, en route to the MTV Video Music Awards.

North Carolina rapper Petey Pablo was arrested today, in Raleigh Durham Airport. The former Jive Records star who later was an affiliate of Suge Knight was found with a pistol in his carry-on luggage. Pablo was reportedly headed to Los Angeles, California for tomorrow night's MTV Video Music Awards.
Pablo will appear in court this Monday in North Carolina, and remains incarcerated with $50,000 bail. Possession of a firearm at an airport is a felony. Yesterday Pablo turned 31 years old. The rapper has reportedly been working on a collection of songs called A&R.
