Lil’ Wayne Tells Producers To Step Their Game Up

Lil’ Wayne is still putting the finishing touches on his anticipated Tha Carter IV album, set to be released on August 29th. He’s having some problems finding the hottest instrumentals around. Weezy F. Baby told XXL that he has been getting subpar beats and producers need to step their game up if they want to be on this project. There has been tons of talk about Cash Money not paying producers for their work so does Lil’ Wayne even have the right to talk sh*t. Check out the quote below.

“These niggas’ beats been sucking. I’m putting it out there: you producing, what ya’ll doing? Get right, man. Step it up,” he said. ‘This is coming from a rapper. One of the best rappers. I ain’t saying I’m the best no more, because these niggas is too good these days. I got old. But damn, y’all niggas’ beats is terrible! [Chad Ochocinco walks into the room] These niggas’ beats sound like Ochocino made them.”
