Oprah’s Last Show Achieves Biggest Ratings Since 1994

Oprah FinaleOprah’s final show was as big as we expected – and the proof is in the numbers. Her Wednesday episode, the last in a three-day “goodbye” special – drew in a 13.3 “household rating,” meaning 15-20 million viewers.
Just a week earlier, she was averaging a 5.4 rating, meaning 7.345 million viewers. So, her finale practically attracted double her usual followers.
Her farewell show earned her best ratings in 17 years!
Who knew all she had to do was leave in order to regain viewers?
