Nelly Goes Public About Relationship With Ashanti

After years of dancing around the subject, Nelly will talk about his relationship with Ashanti on an upcoming episode of VH1’s “Behind The Music” scheduled to air next month.  The two have been rumored to be together for several years but maintained that they were just friends. Nelly is also expected to talk about his declining record sales, the death of his sister Jackie from leukemia, his upbringing and his rise to fame.  The episode is scheduled to air on March 7th.
