Kim Kardashian Went Out with John Mayer and they “Totally hit it off” ???

The new word on the sidewalk is that Kim Kardashian and John Mayer went out on a date one night recently in New York City.
Kim is currently in the Big Apple filming her new reality show with her sister Kourtney, and according to Page 6, the celebrity socialite and reality TV star is on the hunt for a man in New York. So her friends hooked her up with John Mayer one night!

Serial celebrity dater John Mayer may have his eye on curvy Kim Kardashian. Sources said Mayer recently was out one night with the sultry star, who’s in town filming her new series. One source said, “They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off.” Kim’s made it clear she’s on the hunt for a new man in New York.

Sources tell TMZ that Kim and John “totally hit it off” and that the Page 6 story is completely true! The sources also say that the pair have “gone out” together a few times (alone, just the two of them) since the first NYC group date.

We’re told the story in Page 6 — that the two hung out with a bunch of people in NYC to see if there was any chemistry — is totally true … and after that John and Kim spent a couple of nights hitting the town by themselves. One source close to Kim tells us it’s “nothing serious” … yet — but she thinks John is a “really cool guy.”
