Nas not only confirms "Lost Tapes Volume 2," but attaches a release date to it.
When Nas announced in June that there could be second and third volumes of
The Lost Tapes, fans of the Queens emcee undoubtedly salivated at the prospect.
The Lost Tapes, a 2002 compilation release of Nas tracks recorded between 1998 and 2001, quickly became a fan favorite with tracks like "No Idea's Original," "Drunk By Myself," and "Poppa Was a Playa."
MTV's Shaheem Reid (@ShaheemReid) broke the story via his Twitter page. "@Nas sent word my way that Lost Tapes Volume 2 comes out on December 14," he wrote.
Two hours later, Nas confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "It's coming... LOST TAPES VOLUME TWO!!!"
